Mat 5:3-7:27 The Scriptures 1998+
(3) "Blessed are the poor in spirit, because theirs is the reign of the heavens. (4) "Blessed are those who mourn, because they shall be comforted. (5)"Blessed are the meek, because they shall inherit the earth.1 Footnote: 1Ps. 37:9, 11, 22, 29, 34.(6)"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,1 because they shall be filled. Footnote: 1Isa. 55:1-2, Mt. 4:4, John 6:48-51.(7) "Blessed are the compassionate, because they shall obtain compassion. (8)"Blessed are the clean in heart,1 because they shall see Elohim. Footnote: 1Ps. 24:3-4.(9) "Blessed are the peacemakers, because they shall be called sons of Elohim. (10)"Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness’1 sake, because theirs is the reign of the heavens. Footnote: 11Pet. 3:14.(11) "Blessed are you when they reproach and persecute you, and falsely say every wicked word against you, for My sake. (12) "Rejoice and be glad, because your reward in the heavens is great. For in this way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (13) "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how shall it be seasoned? For it is no longer of any use but to be thrown out and to be trodden down by men. (14) "You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain. (15) "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house. (16) "Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens. (17)"Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. Footnote: 1The Law and the Prophets is a term used for the pre-Messianic Scriptures.(18) "For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.1 Footnote: 1Lk. 16:17.(19) "Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. (20)"For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees,1 you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens. Footnote: 1Mt. 15:3-9, Mk. 7:7-13, John 7:19, Acts 7:53, Rom. 2:23-27, Gal. 6:13.(21) "You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and whoever murders shall be liable to judgment. (22) "But I say to you that whoever is wroth with his brother without a cause shall be liable to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka!’ shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be liable to fire of Gehenna. (23) "If, then, you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother holds whatever against you, (24) leave your gift there before the altar, and go, first make peace with your brother, and then come and offer your gift. (25) "Be well-minded with your opponent, promptly, while you are on the way with him, lest your opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. (26) "Truly, I say to you, you shall by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. (27) "You heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ (28) "But I say to you that everyone looking at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (29) "And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna. (30) "And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. For it is better for you that one of your members perish, than for your entire body to be thrown into Gehenna. (31) "And it has been said, ‘Whoever puts away his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ (32)"But I say to you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the matter of whoring,1 makes her commit adultery. And whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery. Footnote: 1Mt. 19:9, Dt. 24:1.(33) "Again, you heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to יהוה.’ (34) "But I say to you, do not swear at all, neither by the heaven, because it is Elohim’s throne; (35) nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Yerushalayim, for it is the city of the great Sovereign; (36) nor swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black. (37) "But let your word ‘Yea’ be ‘Yea,’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ And what goes beyond these is from the wicked one. (38) "You heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’ (39) but I say to you, do not resist the wicked. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. (40) "And he who wishes to sue you and take away your inner garment, let him have your outer garment as well. (41) "And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. (42) "Give to him who asks of you, and from him who wishes to borrow from you, do not turn away. (43) "You heard that it was said,1 ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ Footnote: 1Hate your enemy was "said," not "written."(44) "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you, (45) so that you become sons of your Father in the heavens. Because He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.1 Footnote: 1Lk. 6:35, Acts 14:16-17.(46) "For if you love those loving you, what reward have you? Are the tax collectors not doing the same too? (47) "And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Are the tax collectors not doing so too? (48)"Therefore, be perfect,1 as your Father in the heavens is perfect. Footnote: 1Ex. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, 1 John 2:5, Heb. 6:1.(6:1) "Beware of doing your kind deeds before men, in order to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in the heavens. (2) "Thus, when you do a kind deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do, in the congregations and in the streets, to be praised by men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. (3) "But when you do a kind deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, (4) so that your kind deed shall be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret shall Himself reward you openly. (5) "And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the congregations and on the corners of the streets, to be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. (6) "But you, when you pray, go into your room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place. And your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. (7) "And when praying, do not keep on babbling like the gentiles. For they think that they shall be heard for their many words. (8) "Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (9) "This, then, is the way you should pray: ‘Our Father who is in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, (10) let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven. (11)‘Give us today our daily bread. (12)‘And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (13)‘And do not lead us into trial,1 but deliver us from the wicked one – because Yours is the reign and the power and the esteem, forever. Amĕn.’ Footnote: 1See 26:41.(14) "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you. (15) "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses. (16) "And when you fast, do not be sad-faced like the hypocrites. For they disfigure their faces so that they appear to be fasting to men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. (17) "But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, (18) so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place. And your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. (19) "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, (20) but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. (21) "For where your treasure is, there your heart shall be also. (22) "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, all your body shall be enlightened. (23)"But if your eye is evil,1 all your body shall be darkened. If, then, the light that is within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! Footnote: 1This is a Heḇrew idiom – a good eye means to be generous, while an evil eye means to be stingy.(24) "No one is able to serve two masters, for either he shall hate the one and love the other, or else he shall cleave to the one and despise the other. You are not able to serve Elohim and mammon.1 Footnote: 1Personification of wealth.(25) "Because of this I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you shall eat or drink, or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than the food and the body more than the clothing? (26) "Look at the birds of the heaven, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father does feed them. Are you not worth more than they? (27) "And which of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his life’s span? (28) "So why do you worry about clothing? Note well the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin, (29) and I say to you that even Shelomoh in all his esteem was not dressed like one of these. (30) "But if Elohim so clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more you, O you of little belief? (31) "Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ (32) "For all these the gentiles seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. (33) "But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you. (34) "Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself. (7:1) "Do not judge, lest you be judged. (2) "For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with the same measure you use, it shall be measured to you. (3) "And why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye? (4) "Or how is it that you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the splinter out of your eye,’ and see, a plank is in your own eye? (5) "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to remove the splinter out of your brother’s eye. (6) "Do not give what is set-apart to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. (7) "Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. (8) "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened. (9) "Or is there a man among you who, if his son asks for bread, shall give him a stone? (10) "Or if he asks for a fish, shall he give him a snake? (11) "If you then, being wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in the heavens give what is good to those who ask Him! (12) "Therefore, whatever you wish men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Torah and the Prophets. (13) "Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the gate is wide – and the way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it. (14) "Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed1 which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Footnote: 1Or the way is afflicted.(15)"But beware of the false prophets,1 who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are savage wolves. Footnote: 1See v. 23(16) "By their fruits you shall know them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles? (17) "So every good tree yields good fruit, but a rotten tree yields wicked fruit. (18) "A good tree is unable to yield wicked fruit, and a rotten tree to yield good fruit. (19) "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (20) "So then, by their fruits you shall know them – (21) "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens. (22) "Many shall say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?’ (23) "And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’1 Footnote: 1 See v. 15.(24) "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, (25) and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. (26)"And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not do them,1 shall be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, Footnote: 1John 3:36.(27) and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and great was its fall." 1Co 12:1-13:13 The Scriptures 1998+ (1) And concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant. (2)You know that you were gentiles,1 led away to the dumb idols, even as you might be led. Footnote: 1Eph. 2:11, Eph. 4:17, 1 Peter 4:3, 1 Thess. 4:5.(3) Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of Elohim says יהושע is a curse, and no one is able to say that יהושע is Master except by the Set-apart Spirit. (4) And there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. (5) There are different kinds of services, but the same Master. (6) And there are different kinds of workings, but it is the same Elohim who is working all in all. (7) And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for profiting, (8) for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, (9) and to another belief by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, (10) and to another operations of powers, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues. (11) But one and the same Spirit works all these, distributing to each one individually as He intends. (12) For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah. (13) For indeed by one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Yehuḏim or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink into one Spirit. (14) For indeed the body is not one member but many. (15) If the foot says, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," does it therefore not belong to the body? (16) And if the ear says, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," does it therefore not belong to the body? (17) If all the body was an eye, where would be the hearing? If all hearing, where would be the smelling? (18) But now Elohim has set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He pleased. (19) And if they all had been one member, where would the body be? (20) And now, there are indeed many members, but one body. (21) And an eye is unable to say to the hand, "I have no need of you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." (22) But much rather, those members of the body which are thought to be weaker are necessary. (23) And to those of the body which we think to be less respected, these we present greater respect. And our unseemly members have greater seemliness, (24) whereas our seemly members have no need. But Elohim blended together the body, having given greater respect to that member which lacks it, (25) that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same concern one for another. (26) And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is esteemed, all the members rejoice with it. (27) And you are a body of Messiah, and members individually. (28) And Elohim has appointed these in the assembly: firstly emissaries, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, ministrations, kinds of tongues. (29) Are all emissaries? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? (30) Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? (31) But earnestly seek the better gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. (13:1) If I speak with the tongues of men and of messengers, but do not have love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. (2) And if I have prophecy, and know all secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all belief, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am none at all. (3) And if I give out all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but do not have love, I am not profited at all. (4) Love is patient, is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not puffed up, (5) does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not provoked, reckons not the evil, (6) does not rejoice over the unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, (7) it covers all, believes all, expects all, endures all. (8) Love never fails. And whether there be prophecies, they shall be inactive; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be inactive. (9) For we know in part and we prophesy in part. (10) But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be inactive. (11) When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child. But when I became a man, I did away with childish matters. (12) For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know, as I also have been known. (13) And now belief, expectation, and love remain – these three. But the greatest of these is love. Abba Yahweh as of lately has been speaking to me about my relationship with Him, in regards to my position as a bride. Recently, I have begun having many visions, and dreams. This is something the prophet joel prophesied: Joe 2:28-32 The Scriptures 1998+ (28) "And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions. (29) "And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days. (30) "And I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke, (31) the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה. (32) "And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered1. For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape2 as יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom יהוה calls. Footnotes: 1Acts 2:21, Rom. 10:13. 2Isa. 4:2-3, Obad. v. 17, Rev. 14:1. Something also that came to pass in acts on the day of pentecost, which according to the feast calander takes place about this time of year: Act 2:1-47 The Scriptures 1998+ (1) And when the Day of the Festival of Weeks had come, they were all with one mind in one place. (2) And suddenly there came a sound from the heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (3) And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them. (4) And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak. (5) Now in Yerushalayim there were dwelling Yehuḏim, dedicated men from every nation under the heaven. (6) And when this sound came to be, the crowd came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. (7) And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying to each other, "Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? (8) "And how do we hear, each one in our own language in which we were born? (9) "Parthians and Medes and Ěylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Yehuḏah and Kappadokia, Pontos and Asia, (10) both Phrygia and Pamphulia, Mitsrayim and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Yehuḏim and converts, (11) "Cretans and Araḇs, we hear them speaking in our own tongues the great deeds of Elohim." (12) And they were all amazed, and were puzzled, saying to each other, "What does this mean?" (13) And others mocking said, "They have been filled with sweet wine." (14) But Kĕpha, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, "Men of Yehuḏah and all those dwelling in Yerushalayim, let this be known to you, and listen closely to my words. (15) "For these men are not drunk, as you imagine, since it is only the third hour of the day. (16) "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Yo’ĕl: (17)‘And it shall be in the last days, says Elohim, that I shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams, (18) and also on My male servants and on My female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy. (19)‘And I shall show wonders in the heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapour of smoke. (20)‘The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and splendid day of יהוה. (21)‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.’1 Footnote: 1Joel 2:28-32, Rom. 10:13.(22) "Men of Yisra’ĕl, hear these words: יהושע of Natsareth, a Man from Elohim, having been pointed out to you by mighty works, and wonders, and signs which Elohim did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, (23) this One, given up by the set purpose and foreknowledge of Elohim, you have impaled and put to death through the hands of lawless men – (24) "Him Elohim raised up, having loosed the pangs of death, because it was impossible that He could be held in its grip. (25) "For Dawiḏ says concerning Him, ‘I saw יהוה before me continually, because He is at my right hand, in order that I should not be shaken. (26)‘For this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad, and now my flesh shall also rest in expectation, (27) because You shall not leave my being in the grave, nor shall You give Your Kind One to see corruption. (28)‘You have made known to me the ways of life, You shall fill me with joy in Your presence.’1 Footnote: 1Ps. 16:8-11.(29) "Men and brothers, let me speak boldly to you of the ancestor Dawiḏ, that he died and was buried,1 and his tomb is with us to this day. Footnote: 1See v. 34.(30) "Being a prophet, then, and knowing that Elohim had sworn with an oath to him: of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, to raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne, (31) foreseeing this he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah, that His being was neither left in the grave, nor did His flesh see corruption. (32) "Elohim has raised up this יהושע, of which we are all witnesses. (33) "Therefore, having been exalted to the right hand of Elohim, and having received from the Father the promise of the Set-apart Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. (34) "For Dawiḏ did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself said, ‘יהוה said to my Master, "Sit at My right hand, (35)until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet." ’1 Footnote: 1Ps. 110:1.(36) "Therefore let all the house of Yisra’ĕl know for certain that Elohim has made this יהושע, whom you impaled, both Master and Messiah." (37) And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Kĕpha and the rest of the emissaries, "Men, brothers, what shall we do?" (38) And Kĕpha said to them, "Repent, and let each one of you be immersed in the Name of יהושע Messiah for the forgiveness of sins.1 And you shall receive the gift of the Set-apart Spirit. Footnote: 1See 2:40, 3:19, 3:26.(39) "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as יהוה our Elohim shall call." (40) And with many other words he earnestly witnessed and urged them, saying, "Be saved from this crooked generation."1 Footnote: 1Jer. 51:6, Phil. 2:15, Rev. 18:4.(41) Then those, indeed, who gladly received his word, were immersed. And on that day about three thousand beings were added to them. (42) And they were continuing steadfastly in the teaching of the emissaries, and in the fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. (43) And fear came upon every being, and many wonders and signs were being done through the emissaries. (44) And all those who believed were together, and had all in common, (45) and sold their possessions and property, and divided them among all, as anyone might have need. (46) And day by day, continuing with one mind in the Set-apart Place, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, (47) praising Elohim and having favour with all the people. And the Master added to the assembly those who were being saved, day by day. Of which I am highly familiar, having recieved myself the baptism and the set apart spirit when I was only 11 years of age. Like the disciples, I too have recieved this spirit, and as spoken in the book of Yochanon (john) it is my teacher: Joh 14:9-29 The Scriptures 1998+ (9)יהושע said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how do you say, ‘Show us the Father’? (10) "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works. (11) "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, otherwise believe Me because of the works themselves. (12) "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he shall do also. And greater works than these he shall do, because I go to My Father. (13) "And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. (14) "If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it. (15)"If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.1 Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6.(16) "And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever – (17) the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (18) "I shall not leave you orphans – I am coming to you. (19) "Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees Me, but you shall see Me, because I live, and you shall live. (20) "In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. (21) "He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him." (22) Yehuḏah – not the one from Qerioth – said to Him, "Master, what has come about that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" (23)יהושע answered him, "If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. (24) "He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me. (25) "These Words I have spoken to you while still with you. (26) "But the Helper, the Set-apart Spirit, whom the Father shall send in My Name, He shall teach you all, and remind you of all that I said to you. (27) "Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (28) "You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming to you.’ If you did love Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. (29) "And now I have told you before it takes place, that when it does take place, you shall believe. And so, I have spiritual gifts of all kinds: Mar 16:15-18 The Scriptures 1998+ (15) And He said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the Good News to every creature. (16) "He who has believed and has been immersed, shall be saved, but he who has not believed shall be condemned. (17) "And these signs shall accompany the ones who believe: In My Name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with renewed tongues, (18) they shall take up snakes, and if they drink any deadly drink it shall by no means hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall get well." In a day and age, when people need to hear the voice of Yahweh, I am set apart as one who hears, and tries with my feable attempt to obey. But gifts aside, I have come to understand something in the past few weeks. Gifts, as wonderful as they are... are not what a true believer should desire. Hear me, if you have ears to hear. There are 10 women, selected of the entire kingdom to enter a contest at the palace. The winner of the contest, will become the new queen. Each are allowed a time of preparation, then they can go before the king to be judged. They can take whatever they use with them when they leave the prescence of the king as reward for participating in the contest. Each woman goes through extensive preparation, and puts on jewels. But, among these women, only one inquires of the servant as to what would please the king the most. On the day of judgement, each woman is judge according to her preparation. At last, is this one woman. She comes before the king, with no jewels on her, only a simple gown. Across her shoulders, she wears a tattered scarf that to the naked eye would be worthless. When it comes her turn, the other women scoffed at her for her lack of adornment. When the king laid eyes on her, his eyes widened when he saw the scarf about her neck. Unbeknownst to everyone, sewn inside the scarf, hidden from view, was a rare and precious jewel - the only one, in the entire kingdom. Its worth was higher than any jewel in the kingdom put together, and to hide it, it had been sown into the material of the scarf where no eye could see it. This scarf, was the most treasured posession of the king, for it had belonged to his mother who was now deceased. At once, the king summoned his cheif officer and advised him to prepare the wedding feast. The bride had been selected. When the advisor went before the court, the women who had spent months preparing gathered to hear the news. Which among them would be able to live in the palace? Each had tried to make herself look like a queen.... knowing that the riches of the kingdom belonged only to the winner. Everyone was stunned, to find out that the woman who had chosen the scarf, and simple gown with no jewels had been chosen.... later, the king was asked why he had chosen her above the others, for she was the one voted least likely to be chosen. The king responded: I wanted a woman that would gaurd my most prized possession with her life. What is your most prized possesion the servants asked. The king responded simply: My Heart. Let those with ears hear, those with eyes see the truth therein. Rachael Siebert Grafted into truth ministries If you like this writing, check us out on facebook at: facebook.com/graftedintotruth

This blog post topic centers on the hebrew word for name, which is "hashem." Recently in a christian facebook group I came to the defence of a believer that posted the holy spirit (ruach ha kodesh) had shown him that the true name of the messiah was Yahshua. Several so called prophets in the group were telling the man that the revelation did not come from God and was hense - a lie. I simply advised them to please do some research before condemning the man's word, because historical fact shows that the name "jesus" is a mistranslation - and if after researching, they found themselves in error to repent so that Yahweh could heal their land and give them blessing - aka - a better relationship with Him. For that, they removed me from the group.
That got me thinking: one of the most common defenses I have heard from a christian about the name of the messiah is that different languages prounouce it different ways, and for us in english it's prounouced jesus. In spanish, its "hey-sous" - but they claim, it means the same thing as the hebrew "yeshua" so it's ok. Ok, going with that line of thought... the messiah, was a hebrew. A jew if you will, and was given, undoubtably a hebrew name. Let me put forth this question, to you christians who defend the name "Jesus" to the point where you will critizize others who use the hebrew name, as having a false doctrine. How many of you, if your name was terry would think it strange if a friend misprounouced your name as pat? How many would think it stranger still... if that friend was your best friend? What if that friend... where a boyfriend or girlfriend? would that still be acceptable for them to call you by anything but your given name? How about a fiance? what man or woman out there would accept their spouse calling them by anything but their given name in the language they were given the name at birth? Now consider this: scripture does not say the church is a friend of the messiah. It says we are the bride of messiah. What bride, would get away with calling her husband anything but the name he was given by his parents, or a loving title that describes what he means to her? The name Yahshua means Yahweh is salvation. It is the loving title, we give to our messiah, who is not only our bridegroom but also our savior, and high priest, and sacrifice for our sins. If you are wondering about the validity of the name, and the history behind it's translation please visit these pages: The name and sons name Just something to think about. Before you go claiming any thing true or false, make sure it can be backed up with historical and biblical truth. If after researching, you still find yourself in doubt, go to the source: the Ruach Ha Kodesh. Shalom. Rachael Siebert I was told several years ago, to go back to the church and to give them this
message: Stop following after man's doctrine of lies, and start following God and his Living Torah! That is to say, I was told to go back to the churches, and proclaim this truth: What your forfathers have taught you for doctrine is not in the bible you claim to follow. You need to stop following doctrines, and start following that bible you claim to love so much. Those who will choose to put God first, will be separated out of the churches. Those who do not, will perish when the punishement falls. Yes, punishment is coming to the churches, for scripture says that the house of God is the first to be judged among the nations. I was sent to tell you who yet remain in the churches who believe that death is waiting at the doorstep. The only hope you have is to flee into the very arms of Yahweh, and stop throwing the old testament out because it's "old" or "out dated." Pharasees! Do you not know that the law has NOT BEEN DONE AWAY WITH? The law is the law of love, and it is by that law you shall with the world be judged. You who say you love God, do you keep his commandments, his holy feasts, his 7th day sabbaths? You who say you love your neighbor, do you give your goods to the poor, do you help the widow and the orphan? Do you take in the needy, give help to those who can not help themselves? Thus saith the LORD OF HOSTS I will judge my church based on the level of love that they provide to the least of these. Those who are LEAST shall be first, and the SERVANTS will become masters. Indeed, it is a new day. It is the day of reconing. When my servants, whom you have spat apon, judged wrongly, hated, chased out of your churches will stand and speak MY WORDS OF TRUTH. Whormongers! You who worship demons, and say they are me. You have been so decieved, that you try to cast MY SPIRIT (the holy spirit) out of MY PEOPLE (true believers), thinking they have demons! You, Pastors, teachers, Preachers! WOLVES! You prey upon the week, the poor, the widows and orphans commanding them to give money to make YOUR wallets fat, when they have needs they can't provide for! you drive your fancy new cars, live in luxury houses, while MY CHOSEN GO WITHOUT. my chosen live on the streets, barely able to provide food for themselves, while you eat luxuries feasts of unclean food! You partake of that which I CALLED AN ABOMINATION and call it worship unto me. It is time to stop. Those who are mine, know they are mine. Those who stand at the gate, between hot and cold, undecided... it is time to choose for yourself whom you will serve. Will you serve your church, and it's harlot doctrine, of wichcraft and lies, of unfaithful, unthankful, disobediant, audulturus lying theives, or will you Serve ME... the one who loved you enough to take the punishment for your sins, which are great and stink to the skies, enough to die in your place? The time to choose your destiny is now. Choose! Thus, saith Yahweh to his people. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. I will bear up my shattered and torn ones, and they shall be renewed. Those whom you have beaten down, will be raised up as my mighty warriors. These shall prepare a way, through the desert for the day of my return, for a bride that you have spat upon. See, even my brides cries have reached my ears. You have been warned, by those I have sent, and again I warn you. Judgement is at hand. Those in the inner courts, the outer courts, even in the far courts will not be spared. Do not think, just because you are rich and have need of nothing, that you will be spared. For The spirit goes out and sees the truth, that you are blind, miserable and naked. My bride is clothed with splendor, of my majesty. Her robes are whiter than snow, and she is my beloved. Do not think that you can cause her harm, and not face my rath. Thus saith Yahweh, this 13th day of April, 2014 also known as palm sunday. After this was written, Abba began bringing scriptures to mind which confirm this. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Pro 14:12 kjv ) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isa 55:6-11 kjv) And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed. (1Sa 2:1-10) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (1Sa 2:1-10) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come
to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Why do Christians understand this scripture as "no longer have to follow" the commandments of elohim? Does the word Fulfill here mean "to destroy?" Think about this as you read the following scriptures: And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? (Exo 16:28) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exo 20:6) Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. (Lev 22:31) If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; (Lev 26:3) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. (Deu 5:10) O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! (Deu 5:29) And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days. (1Ki 3:14) Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father: (1Ki 6:12) But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: (1Ki 9:6) And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee. (1Ki 11:38) Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets. (2Ki 17:13) And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision. (1Ch 29:19) But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. (Neh 1:9) If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments; (Psa 89:31) Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. (Psa 119:115) My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: (Pro 3:1) He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. (Pro 4:4) My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. (Pro 7:1) Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. (Pro 7:2) And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; (Dan 9:4) If ye love me, keep my commandments. (Joh 14:15) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (Joh 15:10) Does fulfil the law, mean in any way shape or form that we as believers no longer have to keep the comandments of yahweh? Judge for yourself as you read these scriptures regaurding the word "fulfill" Fulfil her week, and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years. (Gen 29:27) And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw. (Exo 5:13) There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. (Exo 23:26) So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. (1Ki 2:27) Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed. (1Ch 22:13) To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years. (2Ch 36:21) Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth? (Job 39:2) Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. (Psa 20:4) We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. (Psa 20:5) He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. (Psa 145:19) And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. (Mat 3:15) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Mat 5:17) And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. (Act 13:22) And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? (Rom 2:27) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. (Rom 13:14) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Gal 5:16) Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (Gal 6:2) Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (Php 2:2) Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; (Col 1:25) And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. (Col 4:17) Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: (2Th 1:11) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: (Jas 2:8) For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. (Rev 17:17) Consider the meaning behind the words spoken: Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy (G2647) the law,G3551 or the prophets:(G4396) I am not come to destroy,(G2647) but to fulfil.(G4137) The Law: G3551 νόμος nomos nom'-os From a primary word νέμω nemō (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), generally (regulation), specifically (of Moses [including the volume]; also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle): - law. The prophets: G4396 προφήτης prophētēs prof-ay'-tace From a compound of G4253 and G5346; a foreteller (“prophet”); by analogy an inspired speaker; by extension a poet: - prophet. Destroy: G2647 καταλύω kataluō kat-al-oo'-o From G2596 and G3089; to loosen down (disintegrate), that is, (by implication) to demolish (literally or figuratively); specifically (compare G2646) to halt for the night: - destroy, dissolve, be guest, lodge, come to nought, overthrow, throw down. G2596 κατά kata kat-ah' A primary particle; (preposition) down (in place or time), in varied relations (according to the case [genitive, dative or accusative] with which it is joined): - about, according as (to), after, against, (when they were) X alone, among, and, X apart, (even, like) as (concerning, pertaining to, touching), X aside, at, before, beyond, by, to the charge of, [charita-] bly, concerning, + covered, [dai-] ly, down, every, (+ far more) exceeding, X more excellent, for, from . . . to, godly, in (-asmuch, divers, every, -to, respect of), . . . by, after the manner of, + by any means, beyond (out of) measure, X mightily, more, X natural, of (up-) on (X part), out (of every), over against, (+ your) X own, + particularly, so, through (-oughout, -oughout every), thus, (un-) to (-gether, -ward), X uttermost, where (-by), with. In composition it retains many of these applications, and frequently denotes opposition, distribution or intensity. G3089 λύω luō loo'-o A primary verb; to “loosen” (literally or figuratively): - break (up), destroy, dissolve, (un-) loose, melt, put off. Compare G4486. G4486 ῥήγνυμι, ῥήσσω rhēgnumi rhēssō hrayg'-noo-mee, hrace'-so Both are prolonged forms of ῥήκω rhēko (which appears only in certain forms, and is itself probably a strengthened form of ἄγνυμι agnumi (see in G2608)); to “break”, “wreck” or “crack”, that is, (especially) to sunder (by separation of the parts; G2608 being its intensive (with the preposition in compounds), and G2352 a shattering to minute fragments; but not a reduction to the constituent particles, like G3089) or disrupt, lacerate; by implication to convulse (with spasms); figuratively to give vent to joyful emotions: - break (forth), burst, rend, tear. Fulfill: H1214 בּצע bâtsa‛ baw-tsah' A primitive root to break off, that is, (usually) plunder; figuratively to finish, or (intransitively) stop: - (be) covet (-ous), cut (off), finish, fulfill, gain (greedily), get, be given to [covetousness], greedy, perform, be wounded. Often used in composition, with the same general import; often of completion. G4137 πληρόω plēroō play-ro'-o From G4134; to make replete, that is, (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.: - accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply. origins in a culture that shunned the creator in favor of idol worship of idols. Halloween was adopted into the christian church, by what is now known as the Roman Catholic Church in order to get converts. However, the traditions continue and have been adopted by many doctrines that were created from the Roman Catholic church during the reformation. So, Yes... it's adoption into christianity began with the catholic church - but it didn't stop there and is now celebrated among christian denominations of all kinds. Some christian denominations, hating the idea of "halloween" have renamed this holliday "harvest" and rather than having a haloween festival, will have a "harvest" festival. Aka... taking the "good" and disposing of the "bad" part of the holiday. Good, being pumkins, gords, candy, games... ect... But is it really "good?" Not so. It is not "good." No amount of changing names, can change the fact that these customs were once for the worship of demonic gods, that were worshiped as idols. We dress our kids up in costumes, and take them out for candy. We go to parties in costumes, and put jackolanterns outside our houses. We decorate with tomb stones, skeletons.... we dress as walking dead, witches... we put spider webs up... watch movies about murder, rape, ect all in the name of a good "scare." We listen to stories about gostly figures, who after being murdered or committing suicide, still walk the earth... How, in the world can a holiday that revolves around evil, darkness, and death be "good?" It's not. Halloween is dark with the murder and burning the bodies of inocent children to opese the "gods" for a good harvest. Once apon a time, jackolanterns were gourds lit with candles made from the fat of the poor children that were sacrificed to the druid "gods." It was believed, that to make your childs fat, into a candle and burn it at your doorstep would keep away evil. Costumes? They were a way for parents to disguise their children, so that they would not be sacrificed! Today, kids are not taught that a jackolantern is the present reminder of a past sin. They do not fear the sacrificial ritual of our druid ansestors back in europe, where they would be taken, screaming for their parents, and put into cages over a huge bone fire to die from the flames. All of these "customs" are against scripture. The bible commands us, as believers not to murder. We are told that witchcraft is rebellion against YHWH. We are told not to follow the customs of our ansestors, for they burned their children with fire... and yet we do, minus the actual burning of our kids in flames... or are we? In sending our children out to collect candy, are we causing them to someday, pass through the fire of hell unknowing? I was once taught, that a believer should not having anything to do with halloween. I was told it was a celebration of evil, death, and darkness. I was told the wages of sin was death, and the holiday that celebrated the wages of sin was haloween. Later in my life, I met a warlock. I learned that this holiday, was a high holiday for witchcraft! Its darkness continues! It is STILL a holiday of paganism. It is still revered by those who shun YHWH, just as much as it is embrassed by the church. Is the church really winning converts, or is it being converted to sin by partaking of the fruit of good and evil? So, I began to pray... What should I as a beleiver do when confronted with this holiday of darkness? And that is when I got the answer. Be the light! So, in a holiday that celebrates darkness, I decided I'm gonna do the opposite. I am going to celebrate the light that comes with knowing my savior. I am going to be thankful that my savior died, so I don't have to face the flames of hell. I'm going to be thankful, for the ten commandments, that forbid murder. Instead of celebrating with death, I shall celebrate with life. Instead of darkness, I shall celebrate Light. Instead of promoting fear, I shall promote YHWH's love. And, I'm going to share that light on halloween, with love for each child that comes to my door in innocence. I'm going to share the truth of G-d's love, the light of his Spirit, and give the treat of life to each child that dares to ask for a treat. Where light exists, the darkness has to hide. Where love exists, fear has to run away. Where truth lives, lies are exposed. Church #1Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things
saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. Church #2Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Church #3Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Church #4Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; Rev 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. Rev 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. Church #5 Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Church #6Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Church #7 Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. It is clear that the churches that were represented in these passages are representations of modern day church denominations as well... Many were guilty of adopting sin into the church in order to win converts. If this were now, andthe churches mentioned were denominations, instead of locations... I wonder howmany of todays churches can take a lesson from the churches mentioned in revelation? Deu 29:17 And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) Deu 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood; Deu 29:19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: Deu 29:20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. Deu 29:21 And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: Deu 29:22 So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it; Deu 29:23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: Deu 29:24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger? Deu 29:25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: Deu 29:26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: Deu 29:27 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: Deu 29:28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. Deu 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Psa 106:34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: Psa 106:35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. Psa 106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Psa 106:37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, Psa 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Psa 106:39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Psa 106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. Psa 106:41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. Psa 106:42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. Psa 106:43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity. Psa 106:44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry: Psa 106:45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. Eze 20:16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols. Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. Exo 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth. Deu 12:28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God. Deu 12:29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; Deu 12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Deu 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. As the Pagan traditions and customs were absorbed into Chrisianity, it was the policy to accept everything they were accustomed to celebrating also. The Catholic Cardinal John Henry Newman's book, The Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine, published in 1878, states in chapter 8: "The rulers of the Church from early times were prepared, should the occasion arise, to adopt, to imitate, or to sanctify the existing rites and customs of the population, as well as the philosophy of the educated class. The use of temples and those dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasion with branches of trees (wreaths), incense, lamps, candles, votive offerings on recovering from illnesses, holy water, holy days and seasons (the entire Church calendar), use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields, sacerdotal vestments, the ring in marriage, chants, the Kyrie Eleison ? are all of Pagan origin, and sanctified by adoption into the Church." Christianity's "Pagan Connection" started with one man more than any other. In 325 CE, the Roman Emperor Constantine I convened what is now called the Nicene Council, gathering 220 elders (bishops) together, in order to unify basic doctrines (teachings), and establish common practices. This "universalizing" produced the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). The Latin word "Catholic" means universal. There was no "Catholic" on planet Earth prior to this Council. The only Council mentioned in the Writings conducted by the first Nazarenes is mentioned at Acts 15, the purpose of which was to determine how to accommodate Gentile converts who were turning to the true Creator. The only topic: circumcision ~ and since immersion in the Name and receiving the Spirit into your heart is our "circumcision", it was decided that physical circumcision was not necessary (this is a very important beginning text to be understood by all adult male Gentiles!). Constantine's Council sought to institute new tolerances for Pagan patterns, and outlaw the patterns that the Savior lived by and taught ~ he had already proclaimed "Sun-Day" as a day of rest dedicated to the sun (321 CE), and now it came time to "syncretize" more Paganism. By not "repenting" and turning away from elementary foolishness, it was simpler to just "absorb" the behavior. Political and religious CONTROL is a slippery thing; so by keeping the Pagan rituals in place, control was maintained with a minimum of effort! "Truth" was twisted by the "spin doctors" so the opposite of truth became our custom. Rather than make 99% of the people conform to a totally new behavior, it was easier to just exterminate the 1%, and put a Scriptural "spin" on the Pagan customs. This is what overwhelmed all our ancestors, being taught these things as young children. Paganism has always been highly skilled at wrapping dissimilar things together, making things appear one way on the surface, and making the loosely understood things shrouded in what they call the "mysteries of the faith". In order to blend practices into universal (Catholic) behavior, the real Shabbat (Sabbath) was outlawed, along with Passover and other annual "Jewish" observances. This was a prophecy revealed to Daniel. In the prophecy, four "beasts" or kingdoms would arise, which are clearly (1) Babylon, (2) Media- Persia, (3) Greece, and (4) Rome. At Dani'el 7:25, the 4th beast is clearly described: "The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on Earth (Rome). It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole Earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom (Caesars/Khasars/Kaisers/Czars ~ Julius Caesar up to Constantine). After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones (Constantine "fused" the sun worshippers with the Nazarene writings, and was not of the family name "Caesar"); he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High, and oppress His saints (qodeshim, those set-apart, especially the Hebrew people), and try to change the set times and the law". Scripture is a pattern for our living in peace, guiding us with its "LAW". The changing of the "set times" (or seasonal appointments decreed at Deut. 16 and Lev. 23) were wiped-out and replaced with Pagan observances, imposed by Constantine. 1 John 2:3-6"We know that we have come to know Him if we obey His Commands. The man who says, "I know him ," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, Elohim's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him: Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Yahusha did." Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Eph 5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Eph 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. "My brothers, if one of you should wander from the Truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins." ~ James 5:19-20 (Ya'aqob 5:19-20) For it is by (chasid, unmerited lovingkindness) you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of (Elohim), not by works (of men's hands, i.e., circumcison), so that no one can boast. For we are (Elohim)'s workmanship, created in (Mashiach Yahushua) to do good works, which (Elohim) prepared in advance for us to do. (These "good works" are the Torah, the Covenant with Israel). Therefore, remember that you who were formerly Gentiles in the flesh, and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)- remember that at that time you were separate from (Mashiach), excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of promise, without hope and without (Elohim) in the world. But now, in (Mashiach Yahushua), you who once were far away, have been brought near through the blood of (Mashiach). For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one, and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the law with its commandments and regulations (the ceremonial law, not the Torah). His purpose was to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to (Elohim) through the (tree), by which He put to death their hostility." Eph 2:8-16 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens (Gentiles, goyim), but fellow citizens with (Elohim)'s people and members of (Elohim)'s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with (Mashiach Yahushua) Himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a (qodesh, set-apart) temple in (Yahuah). And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which (Elohim) lives by His Spirit." Eph 2:19-22 Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a festival, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days which are a shadow of things to come for the body of (Mashiach)." Col 2:16-17 And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Luk 3:9 Recently, I have come to an understanding of what it means to have a relationship with Elohim, verses only a religion. A relationship, is not a series of beliefs. It is defined as: The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected. The state of being connected by blood or marriage. A religion, on the other hand, is defined as: The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal Diety. Details of belief as taught or discussed.
What Elohim desires, is a personal RELATIONSHIP with each one of us. This has pretty much nothing to do with our beliefs - it has everything to do with our coming to know the savior in a personal and intamate relationship. Often in scripture, we see the relationship HE desires with us, as being that of a Bride, and bridegroom. So, how does one get from point A. to point B.? Point A. being becoming a believer, to point B. being considered a bride? We have a series of relationship levels that we go through. First, we come to an understanding that we need something more than ourselves to live a moral life. We get an understanding of what morals are by reading the "law" and we see that in and of ourselves it is impossible to keep that law. We need something else, to give us the strength. This, leads us to humility. Humility, is recongnising that we can't do this alone. It is at that point, where we reach out to a savior. Our savior, is Yah'Shua. We understand that he paid the penalty for our law breaking, and we accept that he paid the penalty on our behalf. This is step one. Step two. We now have been set free of the penalty. Now what? Now, we begin to learn what it takes to obey the law, and Repent for each law we have broken. As we learn, we come to know more and more laws we have broken, and we live out a series of repenace, until we have the fullness of the law written on our hearts. This is the doing of the holy spirit, who works in our hearts to teach and convict. Each time we are convicted, we repent. Each time we repent, we learn not to repeat the same sin again. This is the school master concept, as each time we see our sin, are convicted and repent, we are brought closer to knowing Y'shua. In this step, we are children. Our heavenly father leads and guides us, teaching us his truth, helping us in his spirit to understand the truth. As we understand more, we go from being born, to being children. We grow. Step three. Spiritual teenagers. This is where we "rebell" against "religion", \man's church doctrines, and seek to find out for ourselves what we should and should not beleive. We dont want to be spoon fed from the pulpit anymore. Now, we open the scripture for ourselves. We test what we have been taught as spiritual children, against what the bible teaches. Is it true? is it a lie? we go through a series of tests. Trials. We reach out for our heavenly father, and say "abba, teach us truth" At this stage, we are coming to maturity. Seeking out a relationship with Elohim, that is more than just religion. We get to know Elohim as friends, as chidren. We come to understand, that we need His spirit to teach us truth in greater depths. We Understand that we are no longer needing to be fed by pastors. We graduate from milk, to the bread of the word at this stage. Step four. Spiritual young adults. At this stage, as young men and women, we begin to see visions. Our spiritual gifts start to manifest themselves. We begin to see Yah'shua as more than "father" - we see him as friend. We hear the call going out to the bride. We are the watchmen on the wall. Our place is in prophesy. As young men, we are the watchers on the wall. We are the ones looking out for the messiah to come, seeking to see him. At this stage we come to know him for ourselves. We have had our bar/bat mitzvahs and have been taught by the spirit of the law. Now, we learn to live the law in order to be pleasing to our savior. It is no longer something we MUST do, to advoid sin. It is something we do because we WANT to please Elohim. At this point, many choose to leave the churches, seeking after spiritual MEAT as it is more satisfying. Step five. Now we are the virgins. We come to know Y'shua as a lover. We are wooed by him. He begins to take us from our visions, and spiritual gifts, and lead us to deeper relationship. We no longer know ABOUT yahshua, we begin to know him. We begin to see him as the shulamite, in the song of solomon. He begins to share his secrets with us. He gives us revelations about himself. We begin to understand more of what it means to have a relaitonship. We are fed, and rather than the law, we begin to understand the atributes of the savior. We begin to understand the completeness of the law and yahshua together. We begin to taste spiritual fruit of love, joy, peace, gentleness, meekness, kindness, temperance, and patience. Our relationship becomes one of secrecy. Step six: Now, we are his betrothed. We understand how the law comes together with the spirit to produce life in him. We have known Yahshua now for some time. Now, we are introduced to the FATHER. We begin to understand the relaitonship of the Father, and the son. In the temple, we are at the mercy seat. We begin to see the relationship of the son, and the father and learn to imitate it. We are anxiously awaiting his return... Yah'shua becomes precious to us. We are able to give up the things of this flesh, and begin to walk hand in hand with the savior in spirit. Our revelations of relationship continue, but our revelations take on a more spiritual aspect. We learn how to walk in spirit. Step Seven: Complete. We are one with the savior as his bride. We walk together with HIM before the father as ONE. We walk as He walked, and now our relationship begins to grow with the father as we now are one with the word. We wait for his coming, and walk in completeness of spirit. We sleep, and have dreams of our walk in heaven. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
