Walk in the true wayA new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. John 13:34-35 Love is the essential ingredient of life, without love, life on this planet cannot exist. We love ourselves, our mates, our children, relatives, the neighbours, the grocer, and our friends at the Temple, Church or Mosque. Love is everywhere in measure but LOVE isn't purified until the person who loves is willing to "hurt", but why must love sometimes hurt? It's within the definition of LOVE that we understand that true love is based on righteousness. Most would rather take a detour before love causes us pain, but we know we can't, so what is love really then? Most people have some sort of "God Consciousness", whether we believe in and acknowledge YHWH as the Architect Who made all and sustains all. Some call upon Him as HaShem, or God, or "The Lord", or Allah, or the Divine Presence, or the Higher Power, but most souls have a sense of One who is greater than humankind, One who is the author of Love and who put life as we know it together. The Torah mentions the FEAR of YHWH as a requirement of Love towards the Most High YHWH. Certainly the Giver of Life has every right to demand LOVE but the question is, what is the component of love that sometimes hurts? Imagine the 14 year old son who comes home after a bad day and says or does something not so pretty, you've also had a hard day, but what do you do? Do you spar with him? Nope, because you know there are good and bad days and we don't let bad days mess up the good, we uphold a righteous standard. We demand LOVE and RESPECT even when it's not so forthcoming, if we don't, it's not likely that we or those who travel this life with us will be appreciated for who they are in Mashiyach. YHWH DEMANDS love, though it may be difficult to always know the Mind of Mashiyach or the WILL of YHWH, the fact remains that LOVE is the common denominator of LIFE. By the wisdom of LOVE a Jew, Christian, Moslem, serial killer, drug addict, thief, politician or rapist must all yield or come to eventual defeat or misery. Love is the champion of life, because Love is based in Truth, and truth always finds it's way to victory. It pains and grieves our souls when we see people inflamed with hatred against those whom they've never even met, never welcomed each other into their homes, never enjoyed a meal together, never prayed together, because they've been fed hatred by their choice of religion, or money or politics. It grieves the soul when you know of a much better way, we know that if we could apply and demonstrate Love and Justice and work to correct the unfairness in this world, the enemies of Love would grow weary and cease to make war, because they would easily be defeated. When we explore the depths of LOVE, it's obvious that for the sake of YHWH and His Mashiyach, there is going to be pain in this world, some even pay the ultimate price and ride in coffins at a young age because of their belief in the power of love, others are made public examples and tortured or executed for their choice to uphold the values of Love. Two of the most profound examples of LOVE are seen in the lives of Avraham and Sarah. Their names were originally Avram and Sarai, but they entered into intimate relationship with YHWH. Instead of Avram "father of Aram", YHWH named him Avraham, the "Father of Nations", instead of "my Princess" Sarah became "Princess to all". Avraham was an extremely wealthy man, but rather than build himself a showpiece castle, he lived in tents and raised up "trained men" who learned to live and love YHWH. Avraham and Sarah are the spiritual Father and Mother of all who learn the Love of YHWH, YHWH chose them to be examples for us. And what amazing examples they really are, they demonstrated love to all, from all nations, not because the promise that nations would came from them but because YHWH revealed Himself to them. The LOVE OF YHWH was poured into every nation, kindred, tongue and people through Avraham and Sarah. When we treat a stranger as a brother or sister, this is the LOVE Avraham and Sarah taught towards all souls, this is reflected in their names, which is their calling and destiny. It's important to note that Avraham and Sarah had an "H" added to their names, the Hebrew letter "Hai" is the 5th letter of the Hebrew alef-bet, FIVE symbolizes Torah. Torah is the foundation of Love because it defines love and protects it, all the laws, rulings, charges, judgments, statutes etc of Torah uphold Mashiyach, who epitomizes Love. Avraham was an "AHAV", a LOVER of YHWH, the Hebrew does not depict a "friend" or acquaintance, but an intimate relationship. So it is, that if we are LOVERS of YHWH we will also LOVE the souls of the stranger, the sojourner, regardless of their ethnicity or choice of religion. Love hurts at times, it's too easy for those who do not know YHWH, to abuse the institution of Love, by offering love and kindness to others you are "threatening" the institution of the carnal or fallen man. Why would someone be accountable to either Love or Justice if they only know a self serving Love that brings personal Justification? True LOVE is unselfish love, sooner or later unselfish love is going to hurt, because LOVE is TRUTH, and TRUTH is perpetually at war with the lies. The household of Faith doesn't have a choice but to love or make an exit out of the Kingdom of Elohim. YHWH demands LOVE because HE is LOVE. The arrogance of religion says you can't pray or commune with the "outsider", but can people have different religions and still LOVE the Master? It's time to learn how to LOVE ...til it hurts. If you have the strength to love your "enemy", you can be sure that those who reject you will be those of your own religion, it's religion that knows how to hate the enemy and reflect the negative hurt and rejection back to the source from whence they suppose it comes. My beloved, let us love one another: because love is from Elohim; and whoever loves, is born of Elohim and knows Elohim. Because Elohim is love; and whoever does not love, does not know Elohim. 1 John 4:7-8. The fact of the matter is that those who hate are in bondage to death. This is how and why Mashiyach Yeshua is preeminent in all aspects of love and life. If you knew they were going to kill you, and you loved them anyways, what kind of love is this? If you knew that you had the power to forgive your murders, knowing also that some would come to realize their hatred is based on self made religious bondage, would you let them take your life? If you knew that your life would make a better world for many others, could you endure some pain? Wherever we find ourselves in this world, if we love as Mashiyach, we are going to be rejected. Love means to live according to righteousness, justice and equality, by demonstrating the Love of Mashiyach we enter into battle. Why? Because we uphold Love as more worthy than life itself. Elohim is Love. Love came before Life. The Nature of YHWH is both male and female, we know this because the attributes of YHWH are revealed equally in both genders. Elohim said, "Let us make man" and we see this picture of creation when husband and wife choose to have children. Love brings life. We all got on this planet because Elohim is LOVE. Life itself came about because Elohim chose to share His LOVE. Each of us are created with our unique blue, brown or green eyes, contagious smiles and every component within us is a product of love, even the not so nice things we experience help us appreciate and cherish love. Mashiyach warns that the love of many will become cold because of Torahlessness, iniquity will abound. It's remarkable how the corporate, scientific and government worlds have an answer for everything except for love, peace, justice and equality on earth. Isn't it telling how the mind of the evolutionist is so hell bent on doing away with morality and "conscience"? Love came before Life, the evolutionist mind cannot grasp the truth of love being dependant upon righteousness. In other words to have to "suffer" to establish love doesn't fit into the evolutionist equation, the avoidance of pain and suffering is the overall objective of the evolutionist, of course through intellectualism and philosophy one can make oneself believe the moon is made from Swiss cheese, so rather than love they muse about how the strong survive. When looking at Love according to Mashiyach, it's easy to understand how the spirit of man was created to exist eternally, because the spirit of man "in Mashiyach" knows he is given life so he can love, he will not die, because love precedes life itself, love is the substance of Elohim. The spirit of man that continues in "sin" cannot live, because he he has not known love. This is basic stuff and we shouldn't make it more complicated than it is, the point is that the more the world shows disdain for love, the more those who love are going to hurt, this is noted in verses like Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." http://www.mashiyach.com/Meditate/love.htm Scriptures on love(Lev 19:18) 'Do not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people. (Luke 6:35) "Rather, love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting none in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be sons of the Most High. (Luke 10:27) And He answering, said, " 'You shall love ???? your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbour as yourself.' (Rom 5:5) And expectation does not disappoint, because the love of Elohim has been poured out in our hearts by the Set-apart Spirit which was given to us. (Rom 8:39) ...nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Messiah ????? our Master. (Rom 12:9) Let love be without hypocrisy. Shrink from what is wicked, cling to what is good. (Rom 13:9) For this, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other command, is summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." (Rom 13:10) Love does no evil to a neighbour. Therefore, love is completion of the Torah. (1Co 2:9) But as it has been written, "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what Elohim has prepared for those who love Him."1 Footnote: 1Isa. 64:4. (1Co 8:3) But if anyone loves Elohim, this one is known by Him. (Rom 13:10) Love does no evil to a neighbour. Therefore, love is completion of the Torah. (Gal 5:14) For the entire Torah is completed in one word, in this, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself." (Gal 5:22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness... (Eph 2:4) But Elohim, who is rich in compassion, because of His great love with which He loved us, (Eph 4:15) ...but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow up in all respects into Him who is the head, Messiah... (1Ti 1:14) And the favour of our Master was exceedingly increased, with belief and love which are in Messiah ?????. (1Ti 6:10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some, by longing for it, have strayed from the belief, and pierced themselves through with many pains. (2Ti 1:13) Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in belief and love which are in Messiah ?????. (2Ti 4:8) For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing. (Phm 1:5) hearing of your love and the belief which you have toward the Master ????? and toward all the set-apart ones, (Phm 1:7) For we have much joy and encouragement in your love, because the tender affections of the set-apart ones have been refreshed by you, brother. (Heb 6:10) For Elohim is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His Name, in that you have attended to the set-apart ones, and still attend. (Yas 1:12) Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him. (Yas 2:8) If you truly accomplish the sovereign law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbour as yourself," you do well, (1Yn 2:5) But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected1 in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 2 Footnotes: 1Gen. 17:1, Ps. 119:1, Mt. 5:48. 2See 3:24. (1Yn 2:15) Do not love the world nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 Footnote: 1Ym. 4:4. (1Yn 3:11) Because this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another... (1Yn 3:23) And this is His command, that we should believe in the Name of His Son ????? Messiah and love one another, as He gave us command. (1Yn 4:7) Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is of Elohim, and everyone who loves has been born of Elohim, and knows Elohim. (1Yn 4:8) The one who does not love does not know Elohim, for Elohim is love. (1Yn 4:10) In this is love, not that we loved Elohim, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be an atoning offering for our sins. (1Yn 4:12) No one has seen Elohim at any time. If we love one another, Elohim does stay in us, and His love has been perfected in us. (1Yn 4:16) And we have known and believed the love that Elohim has for us. Elohim is love, and he who stays in love stays in Elohim, and Elohim in him. (1Yn 4:17) By this love has been perfected with us, in order that we might have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is so are we in this world. (1Yn 4:18) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1Yn 4:20) If someone says, "I love Elohim," and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love Elohim whom he has not seen? (1Yn 5:3) For this is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy, Footnote: 1See 5:2, 2 Yohn v. 6, Yohn 14:15. (2Yn 1:6) And this is the love, that we walk according to His commands.1 This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. Footnote: 1See 1 Yohn 5:3, and Yohn 14:15. (Rev 2:4) "But I hold this against you, that you have left your first love." |
The true way of loveThis may be the most important thing you will ever read. You have this pamphlet because someone really, truly cares about you. Ever wonder why we live in a world with such sorrow, empti- ness and pain? Through it all, you need to know that there is some good news for us: It will not be like this forever! "Thy Word Is Truth" (John 17:17b) Every day, archaeological discoveries are confirming that the bible is indeed a true and trustworthy book. With the Dead Sea Scroll biblical manuscripts dating all the way back to 200 BCE, we not only have confirmation that the bible been preserved with remarkable accuracy, but also that hundreds of biblical prophecies have come true. The scriptures say the days are coming when there will be an end to all that is evil in the world. Our Creator will right all the wrongs and cause everyone to walk in the ways of love and peace. If we choose to walk in the ways of love and peace now, we can be saved from this doomed world where pleasures are only temporary, but pain and sadness our frequent companion. The reason why we are in this situation simple. We have failed to love one another and we have failed to love the One who created us with His definition of love. Our failure to love is called sin. Although every one of us have sinned, the Heavenly Father has shown His love for us by sending His only begotten Son into this world to suffer and die for the sins of the world. The Messiah willingly allowed our sin to be placed on Him, resulting in His torture and death. But because He did not sin, He was raised again and has the power to give us everlasting life in the coming age. We only need to make the choice to love Him in return by believing in the Him and seeking to walk in the ways of love rather than our own ways. How could anyone turn down such an act of love? It is a wonderful opportunity! His ways are the ways of truth, purity, life and joy. But the ways of man are the ways of falsehood, corruption, death and sadness. For this reason: "...Cursed is the man who trusts in man?" (Jeremiah 17:5) Trusting in man for salvation has resulted in thousands of churches, denominations and beliefs amongst those who claim to follow the scriptures. But what would happen if we chose to set aside thousands of years of man's tradition, corruption and watered down faith, and just went straight to the words of our Creator as the source of understanding the ways of truth and love? And what if we decided that we were not going to care what people thought of us if we found something that was quite unusual or out of the mainstream? Wouldn't that be a good way to show love to our Heavenly FatherThe scriptures say that we should not fear men: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul..." (Matthew 10:28a) So if we do love Him, we should seek to live in a way that honors Him, no matter what. After all, when He puts an end to this age, only His ways will stand. Our life here but is a speck in the universe compared to eternity. When this short life is over, man's wayward opinions and false traditions will not stand. FALSE TRADITIONS OF MEN One of the many false traditions of men is the complete removal of our Heavenly Father's name from the English translations of scripture. Just as you and I have a name, so does our Heavenly Father: Yet, because of this, few people even know His name. "I am Yahweh, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images." (Isaiah 42:8) Yet, in most bibles, it will say "I am the LORD, that is my name". But this is not true. Man chose to remove the Heavenly Father's name and put "the LORD" in its place. This is simple historical fact: "Yahweh, the God of the Israelites, his name being revealed to Moses as four Hebrew consonants (YHWH) ?. the divine name was increasingly regarded as too sacred to be uttered; it was thus replaced vocally in the synagogue ritual by the Hebrew word Adonai ("My Lord)" Encyclopedia Britannica, under the heading "Yahweh". So this tradition continues to this day. But it isn't very loving toward our Heavenly Father to take His name out of the bible, is it? Yet it is no secret. The translators of most bibles admit that they have done this if you just read the bible preface. His name is actually in scripture nearly 7,000 times, most often replaced with the title "LORD" or "GOD". So keep this in mind: Our Heavenly Father really does have a name. His name is "Yahweh", and He wants us to use it: "Oh, give thanks to Yahweh! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!" (Psalm 105:1) "And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of Yahweh shall be saved." (Joel 2:32a) [Also see Acts 4:12, Psalm 68:4 and Isaiah 52:6| We have also discovered that men have changed the name of the Messiah to "Jesus". But His actual name is "Yahushua" (pronounced Yah-oo-SHU-a). The name Yahushua carries a very important meaning which is not found in the name "Jesus". Yahu = Yahueh/Yahweh (the Heavenly Father's Name) Shua = Saves Therefore, "Yahushua" means "Yahweh saves" or "Yahweh (is) salvation". Thus, scripture begins to make more sense when we read Yahweh's words in the book of Matthew: "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yahushua (Yahweh saves): for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 So it was the Heavenly Father who named His Son and He had a really good reason for it. It isn't very loving to change His Son's name, is it? Would you want someone to change your son's name? Yahweh wants us to walk in love, so why not do it? Why not leave His word alone and let it speak to us, just as He inspired it? Of course, many aren't aware of these things. But once we learn about it, we should walk in love rather than false traditions. ALL OF HIS WORD IS TRUTH Yahushua said: "You shall love Yahweh your Mighty One with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:37-40) Another false tradition we have discovered is the "Christian" belief that we do not need to keep Yahweh's law (commandments) anymore. But notice that the above scripture says all of the law and prophets (the law is His commandments) hang from the two greatest commandments which are to love Yahweh and love one another. This means every biblical commandment was given to help us learn what it means to love our Heavenly Father and love our fellow man. In the commandments, He defines what love truly is. For if He had only given us the two commandments, everyone would just decide for themselves what love is. For instance, some could have claimed that committing adultery is an act of love, but He says that we should not commit adultery. The Ten commandments also teach that we are to keep the Sabbath day holy. When Yahweh created the heavens and the earth, he rested on the 7th day of the week. He blessed that day and made it holy so that we would also rest on the 7th day of the week. It would not be very loving to profane the day that he made holy by choosing to work on that day, would it? Ignoring what Yahweh has done and choosing to do our own thing is not love. There are many other commandments as well, and they are all good for us. He knew our bodies needed to rest. "If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15) "For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:3) Don't let anyone tell you different. Man thinks His commandments are a burden so he tries to find ways to avoid keeping them. But His commandments are not burdensome at all, especially when we consider all that He has done for us. He created a very beautiful world for us to live in. He has given us every good thing we have. He also gives us life and hope in spite of man's choice to ignore Him and choose his own way. He loves us very much. He only wants us to love Him in return and choose life. How could we ever turn that down? There are awesome and wonderful things awaiting those who have chosen the way of truth and love. Find yourself a bible and read Revelation 21 & 22 for a glimpse! Indeed, a day of judgment is coming: "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever." (Daniel 12:2-3 ) So if you desire eternal life, and if you see the foolishness of this world and desire to be delivered from the bondage of sin, consider these very important words from the scriptures which tell us what we should do: "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Yahushua Messiah for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38) To repent means to turn away from a life of sin and turn toward walking in righteousness. It is a decision to leave the ways of this world and walk in the ways of Yahweh. We need forgiveness for past sins and a true commitment to walk in love by keeping His commandments. When we receive the Spirit through baptism, Yahushua the Messiah lives in us and gives us the power to walk in His love: "...it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Yahweh, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20b) Do you desire a new life? A life of peace? Peace only comes when we are at peace with our Creator. He wants you to come to Him so that He may cleanse you from all sin, no matter how bad the sin: "Come now, and let us reason together," Says Yahweh, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18) We can believe that the most powerful being in the universe is able to purify us and take away our sins. We can also believe that the day is coming when those who refuse His offer of love will find out where the end of their road takes them: "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15) After all, it would not be very loving for our Heavenly Father to force those who walk in love to live forever with those who refuse to walk in love, would it? He will hear the sincere prayer of those who receive His Son and are committed to walk in love. Pray, seek baptism and read the scriptures. He will guide you!
